My name is Miranda Pick and I was born and raised in this great state of Texas. I grew up in Thrall and Taylor and decided this was where I wanted to plant my roots. Being involved with horses since I was 13 has given me an understanding of most things leather. While saddle repair is not necessarily my profession, I can repair and clean most saddles out there today.  I can fix most purses and repair the majority of anything made from or with leather. One day in 2018 I was dropping off a pair of my own boots at White’s Leatherworks, in Milano, to be repaired and Donny White showed me a flyer with all of the equipment they were selling. He and his wife were getting out of the boot repair part of their business so they could focus on saddle repair and their custom work. They took me under their wings and for the next 8 weeks, I given a crash course in general boot repair. I purchased the equipment from Donny and Naomi and started doing boot repair as a hobby. It took me a few years (and lots of shows and seminars) to get to where I am today but I wouldn’t change a thing. This journey is one that I continue to travel due to my love of all things leather. I would like to take this time to thank my original few customers. You have encouraged me to always do better and expand on my knowledge, as well as told me that my work looked great when we both know it wasn’t all that good. You’re the best!

My goal is to provide you with the best and most durable work I can. Anyone who knows this line of work knows that every job will be different. I strive for quality but some repairs just can’t return your item to its factory appearance but I do like a challenge. I look forward to meeting ya’ll and thank you for suffering through this short story.
